What some of you might not know is that this tour originated with a suggestion I made by a stampin' friend, Lucia, on our LateNightStampers group. What an incredible day of Adventure I have planned for you on April 27th. I am doing a shout out now for you to "Save The Date" to visit my blog. I, along with many other ladies, are posting ideas with stamp sets and accessories from the new Mini Occasions catalog. On this day and this day only will the adventure take place.

You will be traveling from blog to blog all around the United States of America and possibly other countries as well. At each stop you will have a chance to win blog candy, to view tasteful samples and see the rich culture of Stampin' UP! up close and personal only the way a true adventurer can.

Blogs More Popular than Emails :)

According to a report just released by Nielsen Online, blogs and social media have become more popular than e-mail!

The new study reveals that 66.8% of global internet users accessed blogs and other social media sites, compared to 65.1% for e-mail!  OK gals... that means I better get going, huh? I know I have fallen behind on keeping up with this blog, but hopefully soon will get to a place where I can once again focus a whole lot more time to my blog. I have been having computer problems and am in the process of gaining another work area in my Stampin' Pub domain... really!  Yay! I can't wait. You will have to come see me when it is all done! Just give me a holler any time on my cell to make sure I am home. I am hoping by Easter I will have it all in a much better order.

At any rate, assuming this trend continues, these statistics, indicitive of the evolution from a Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 world, may have significant implications for your future marketing plans, especially e-mail marketing.  Do you find yourself communicating less and less through e-mail?  If so, how are you communicating online with friends, family and professional colleagues?  Let me know by leaving a message in the Comments section below.

Hey To One and All!

What a G-R-A-N-D! time we had in Salt Lake City at my very first Stampin' Up! Convention!!! Woo-Hoo!!! There were 18 of us from our StampAttics group and we even adopted a Canadian, Maureen, who happened to be at Convention all alone... can't have that now can we? We were together for six days in Salt Lake City, with the Convention lasting 4 days.

I am very slowly getting back into a routine and will be posting GREAT News from Stampin' Up! daily for the next several days. Please make sure to start checking my blog daily. I have lots of NEW stuff to pass on. It was pretty overwhelming to us, so I will go slowly on a daily basis for you, too.
