Can You Say WOW! ???

Hello Again! Monday night, Late Night Stampers held one of their two nights of Wow! events where demonstrators volunteer to demonstrate a technique that will Wow! you and your customers. And Wow! they did!

Here is the demo I did with Paper Buttons, along with two of my favorite samples. Easy peasy. THANKS! goes out to one of my stampin' buddies, Igor (better known to most of you as Marty) who helped me mass produce and create many, many paper buttons!!!  Another big THANKS! to another one of my stampin' buddies, Twerp (better known to most of you as Kathy VanAntwerp) for helping create some super-duper samples to show my guests. Trust me, not only were they Wowed by the buttons but LOVED the samples as well!!!  Hey StampAttics... I will be demoing this at our upcoming July 30th meeting... be there!

This sample was inspired by Erica Cerwin, using Dot, Dot, Dot stamp to create our own designer paper, and using 4 of the 5 new recently released In-Colors.

But, THIS! was the ONE that blew me away!!! Love IT!!! It is made from the Petal Cone die... and guess what gals... I have the instructions for this one! WOW!!!  And I actually met the creator of this marvelous card, Kirsteen Gill, and had supper with her last night as well. She is very talented and lots of fun! Hey Shelli! You need to catch up with her as well!

I will be attending another Wow! event on Saturday night where I can actually enjoy the demonstrations of more Wow! samples. Can't wait!

Why I LOVE my Late Night Stampers group!!!

 
Yes! I survived my three times up and three times down. Whew! I zonked out by 8:30 pm, when it was still fairly light outside... gone! I needed that good night of SLEEP.

But, bright and very early on Monday morn, I was up and ready to GO! I was at our Late Night Stampers Stamp Camp by 8 am! LNS is an A-W-E-S-O-M-E group of wonderful stampers -- both men and women! We love to have a great time and have some pretty awesome stampers in our group. Here are 6 of the 8 projects we created (slow as I am, I will be back later this morning to finish up two more projects). Some of the lighting was not easy to work with, so you have to forgive the not-so-good pics, but, I think you will love the ideas!

 Then in the afternoon I was in a shoebox swap where we created 7 - 3D projects.

Here is a bird house with a battery mini light.

What a darling magnet note holder.

This box was made with a die from the Big Shot Pro using the new pennant die to decorate.

Here's a mini easel post-it note holder I created for our group of 7 stampers.

This gal showed us how to make this C@@L box using the milk carton die. LOVE It! She also got 1st place from our group of approximately 70 stampers.

I have always wanted to make earrings, but didn't know where to start. LOVE these made with our rhinestone stone brads and so very easy peasy to make!

Here is a covered mini notebook. Nice.

Then I was one of the presenters in our Wow! event... more on that with C@@L projects coming later :)

Summer Mini Sneak Preview... Woo-Hoo!

I have been a demonstrator now for EIGHT years and still lovin' it!  Almost every new catalog or mini, I will say to myself, what possibly can they add. And then it arrives! Recently, a few of us demonstrators got together to "play" with our new pre-order of more new stamps and surprises. Here's some of our samples.  CLICK ON ANY IMAGE TO ENLARGE.

LOVE - LOVE - LOVE !!! our new TRIPLE LAYER PUNCHES!!!

These were done by me, after surfing to see another fold... Woo-Hoo! The first one is done with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and uses the Bold Blossom stamp set which was carried over from the Occasions Mini to the Summer Mini. The second card uses the Doily Triple Layer Punch with a quick and easy folding technique (Really!) to create a butterfly and the flower, using the Paisley Prints DSP.

 

These two were done by Julie. First one uses The Open Sea set. They both are using the new Nautical Expedition DSP. The second one uses the Pretty Postage stamp set and uses the new Postage Stamp Punch, along with some new Baker's Twine. C@@L!

These two were done by Bonnie. The new Flower Fest -- in the first card -- has so many possibilities. And 5 of the 8 stamps can be PUNCHED out and no need to cut! The second card uses our new Beyond the Garden DSP, along with the new Fabulous Florets stamp set. Love them!

You know how I love purple. This is my pick of the day, done by Julie. Uses Fabulous Florets stamp set along with our new Flower Garden Embossing Folder. A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

First one is done by Lori with, yep!, Fabulous Florets and the Flower Garden Embossing Folder. The second one is done by Jolece using the Beyond the Garden DSP and Sunny Fun stamp set. So colorful.

The first one is done by me where I cut the DSP flowers, ran it through my Xryon for adhesive, then applied it to white card stock; added a saying; ran through the Big Shot to embed emboss; then finished off with butterflies from the Beautiful Wings embosslit. These two are using the Paisley Prints DSP, along with the second one also using the Four Frames stamp set that both will be in our new upcoming 2011-12 Idea Book & Catolog. Can't wait! And along comes Mary! She decided she would be overwhelmed to make so many cards at a time (as we usually swap by creating the number of cards as there are people at these play days), so she opted to make flowers for all instead. Woo-Hoo!!! Isn't this Daisie just absolutely stinkin' C-U-T-E!?! What an artist! Notice that even the leaves are punched out and have a bit of wire between two layers. The daisies were cut using the Big Shot Flowers Daisies #2 die. Below is a previous Rose that she had also created.

Why do I love Convention so much -- only having been to 3 so far out of my 8 years as demonstrator?  Can't say it much better than our fearless leader of Late Night Stampers, Sherrill Graff, "I have been a demonstrator since 1991 and so this is my 20th year with the company. I can say the conventions just keep getting better and better every year!!!! Stampin Up always puts in 110% .  I love convention for the learning but more importantly for the relationships. It's so wonderful to see old friends and meet new ones. Our group comes on Sunday and plays Monday and Tuesday before convention. Never feel you are alone, once you get to SLC you will start to notice stampin up people everywhere and just say hello. If you let people know it's your first time they will open their circle of friends to you.  I love the idea of swapping with everyone, I remember I too was new once and I remember how worried I was that my swap was not good enough. Every swap is worthy of trading and every person new or old should treat you like the wonderful person you are!!!!"
