My first card is a FUN and EASY fun fold, the easel card. But, nothing says "cookies" like the Cookie Monster! Isn't he cute!?! I was inspired to make this card from Heejung Hunsberger‎. I saw her card and just had to make it too! It uses a new set called Nothing Better Than stamps & Love You More Than dies, along with a new Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. It also uses a couple of retired punches and the retired Starburst dies.
This fun fold took a bit more time and was a little more challenging, but FUN to make! My butterflies came from the Butterfly Beauty dies. This is truly a different style of card as they want you to fold the sides back to send it in the mail... hmmm, not too sure about this. I would like to come up with a way to fold it normal and have an actual "front" to the card; but, there is the center fold that you would have to work around. At any rate, I love this fold! And the verse fits this day and age... "If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterfly - unknown" from another old-timer, Flight of the Butterfly.
