Here we made a Small Easel Card. I LOVE sharing what I DO!!! The skinny heart shapes are from misc. dies and the biggest purple heart is also from a retired hearts dies set. We also use what we have on hand during ZOOM classes... Use It Up!

It's my favorite time of the year... Fall! Makes me ever so thankful to live here in the Mid-West. I love to see the changing of colors of all the leaves on the trees. The only thing I don't like about it is I know this puts us closer to the NEXT season here in the Mid-West! Bummer.

FUN, GIGGLES, and STAMPING! in PJ's!

Are you wanting to have FUN, GIGGLES and STAMPING... in you pajamas!?!?! Come join me on Wednesday mornings! Zooming is so much FUN! Don't know how to Zoom? No problem. Contact me for more information and I will get you ready to go on your device such as computer, laptop, or tablet... in about an hour or so!  (Note: Click on any image to enlarge.)

Here's what we did today for our 45th Mystery Card. I email you Clue #1 of a list of supplies needed and come Wednesday mornings, I will give out the remaining clues and we will do a complete card using YOUR supplies of any kind/brand in YOUR own home. We don't even care if you wear your pajamas! Today we did a Pocket Greeting Card, which can easily be made into a gift card/cash holder as well.

Here's another sample that I made. So quick and easy and uses a 4 x 12" piece of your favorite designer series paper... just think, you can get 3 cards out of a 12 x 12 DSP sheet! Hooty-Hoo!!!

Clue #1  -  Gather your supplies:

Vertical/Portrait Card – All measurements in inches

Colored Card Stock:

-     4-1/4 X 5-1/2  

-     3-1/2 X 5

-     punched/die cut for sentiment label layer

Designer Series Paper:

-     4 X 12, cut off 1-1/2 x 4 and save this piece      

-     With the longer piece score at  1-1/4 + 5-1/4 (across 10-1/2)

White / Vanilla CS

-     (2) 3-1/4 x 4-3/4

-     punched/die cut for sentiment

ALSO NEED:  Ribbon, stamps, punches, dies and embellishments.

DIRECTIONS:

-   Use 1/8” tear tape along sides to fold up DSP on both sides of the dsp, between the 2 score lines. You can also use 1/4", but you need to only 1/2 of the width on DSP, then fold over the other half of you tear tape to keep a thin line of tape. If you use glue, make sure to use a very fine line along the very edge of the DSP.

-   Fold up together your DSP.

-   I put a white/vanilla 3-1/4 x 4-3/4 on each side of your 3-1/2 x 5 colored CS for plenty of stamping or writing.

-   You can also use the 1-1/2 x 4 DSP that you cut off to decorate your card OR layer with inside edge open for a gift card/cash holder for the recipient.

-   To make sure the recipient knows to "pull" the inside out, it is best to attach a ribbon and/or a tag. Just sayin'. lol!

-   Decorate as desired!

I chose a couple of cards that we recently made ZOOMING online at my weekly mystery card times. I love sharing with YOU! If you would like to join us, just let me know and I will send you the information and the 3 times a week that I ZOOM... one card a week for all three times.

This first card is a Twisted Easel Card. FUN & EASY!!! For all the information, please visit my Facebook business page, Stamp-N-Nuggets. Don't forget to "Like/Follow" my page while you are there to keep up with the latest and greatest! Or contact me for the information. I used Dragonfly Garden stamps and punch, along with Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper from the new Occasions 2021 Mini.

This card is a Tri-Fold DSP Card. FUN & EASY!!! For all the information, please visit my Facebook business page, Stamp-N-Nuggets. Don't forget to "Like/Follow" my page while you are there to keep up with the latest and greatest! Or contact me for the information. On this card I used the Flower & Field Designer Paper from the NEW SAB Mini. You cut either 5 or 5-1/4 x 12 and score at 4-1/4 + 8-1/2. Decorate as desired. Isn't this a GREAT way to use up your DSP? I also used All Things Fabulous + Butterfly Gala stamps and Fabulous Florals + Stitched So Sweetly + Birds & More dies.

A Blast from the Past with 1" Squares

THANKS SO MUCH!!! to Nancy W. for leading us this week on our Mystery Card #30! She made a pattern using 1" squares. This week I was so very happy to see these states represented: Texas, Illinois, Arizona, North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina... Hooty-Hoo!!! You can do so much SIMPLE STAMPING with 1" squares. I would love to see what you have done!

Here is my first card where I embossed my 4 x 5-1/4" white layer first, then added my squares. For my sentiment, I used the AWESOME new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch #152883 found in our 2020-21 Annual Catalog. The little dragonflies are from an upcoming NEW punch that will be in the 2021 Occasions Mini... I simply punched them and added Wink of Stella to give them a bit of sparkle.

This second card I made with like squares, but waited to emboss the complete layer once all squares were adhered and the greeting stamped. Which card do you prefer?

I chose the Poinsettia Place Suite. Yuuuup! I said to myself, "Do I really need more poinsettias?" I hope you see that I truly DID need to purchase most of the items in this suite! The stamps & dies bundle is to "DIE" for!!! I am really liking the look of slimline cards. This is sized at 3-1/2 x 8-1/2 and fits a business size #9 envie. It has much more room to write on in the inside.

This picture really doesn't do this card justice, but, I do what I can. I have an extra 4 x 5-1/4 red layer that is embossed with Dainty Diamonds embossing folder and I used Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint on the petals to add a bit of glimmery shine... LOVE this paint! The leaves are cut and embossed with one pass through; then I simply folded them in half to add a little extra dimension.

LOVE the Designer Series Paper for this suite! Added a bit of the shimmery paint on my petals, too.

Here is a card we did at one of my ZOOMS. At the time I did this card, I had not yet ordered the Poinsettia Place DSP, so I made my own. You can see that FUN shimmery paint a bit better in the second picture. Don't forget, you can click any picture to enlarge.

Here's Kim Baker's card. She pretty much used up a piece of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper sheet. I LOVE this idea!

Directions.   Portrait card.

Card base, Whisper White or Very Vanilla, which ever matches your DSP. Cut 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"; score at 4-1/4".

Cut card stock layer to 5-1/4" x 4". Cut DSP to 5" x 3-3/4". Adhere these 2 pieces together, but do NOT attach to card base yet.

Cut a strip of WW or VV to 6" x 1". Cut a DSP strip to 6" x 1-1/4". Adhere these 2 pieces together, but do NOT adhere to above layers yet. Flip this over and angle on the DSP layers; attach dimensionals, keeping away from the areas to be trimmed. Attach now to larger layers and trim off along the card stock layer. Attach all to card base.

Mystery Stamping Creativating 4-29-20

Another FUN CLASS this morning!!! Thanks to those that were able to join in! I send out a list of supplies you will need and you have everything ready to go the day of Mystery Stamping Creativating. You just never know how our cards will end up. Everyone chooses from their own supplies. They are always AWESOME cards :)
